FAQ

How can I help?

First and foremost, keep sending positive energy our way!

One thing that has really been helpful are gift cards for lunch or dinner so that we don't have to worry about it. We love Subito Soups and DoorDash is great too. For those of you in Indy, you can sign up on our Meal Train page if you're able to make us dinner.

If you feel compelled, you can donate to Riley Children's Foundation and/or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

If you're able, give blood at your local drive, and join the bone marrow registry at Be the Match.

Thanks to a lot of generosity, Ryan has enough blankets, lotion, chapstick, hats, socks, snacks, etc. at the moment, so please hold off on sending care packages for now.

What are some useful resources?

Here's a good resource for how to talk to someone with cancer.

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has a lot of good info too (like this 3D model of ALL) if you want to learn more.

How long will your treatment last?

My treatment started fairly soon after I was first diagnosed in October of 2020. If all continues to go well, I will completely finish treatment in March of 2023, a little under 3 years in total.
