How can I help?
First and foremost, keep sending positive energy our way!
One thing that has really been helpful are gift cards for lunch or dinner so that we don't have to worry about it. We love Subito Soups and DoorDash is great too. For those of you in Indy, you can sign up on our Meal Train page if you're able to make us dinner.
If you're able, give blood at your local drive, and join the bone marrow registry at Be the Match.
Thanks to a lot of generosity, Ryan has enough blankets, lotion, chapstick, hats, socks, snacks, etc. at the moment, so please hold off on sending care packages for now.
What are some useful resources?
Here's a good resource for how to talk to someone with cancer.
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has a lot of good info too if you want to learn more.
How long will your treatment last?
My treatment will likely last three years if all goes well. The first few months are the most intense and then if all goes to plan I will enter a longer maintenance phase where treatments will be less frequent.
